I want to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude to each and every one of you for making the first half of this school year truly exceptional. Your support, whether through time or generous donations, has been the driving force behind our thriving community.
Reflecting on the past few months, it’s incredible to see the breadth of activities we’ve accomplished together. From the delightful Kindergarten picnic to the spooky Trunk or Treat, and everything in between—our community has truly shone bright. The success of the Back to School Social, Fall Book Fair, Hispanic Heritage Assembly, Conchas Y Cafecito, Charleston Wrap Fundraiser, Halloween Assembly, the highly-anticipated return of the Ames Fall Auction and the thoughtful gestures like Conference dinners and holiday cookies for our dedicated teachers—all of these events have contributed to making Ames a vibrant and united community.
Looking ahead to 2024, we have an exciting lineup of events planned. Get ready for the return of One Book One School, the Ames Family Outing (mark your calendars for 1/19 at the Fleetwood Roller Rink!), D96 Night at the Chicago Wolves, Family Heritage Night and much more. The upcoming year promises to be filled with opportunities for connection, learning and fun.
