With Cultural Arts week kicking off this week the PTA wanted to introduce the artist that will be working with your students. Kendra Curry-Khanna is a Riverside resident and has a master’s degree in art education. This year’s project is called: “We See, Together.” It is a collaborative artwork made by all Ames students Kindergarten-fifth grade and will give parents, staff, and teachers alike a view of Ames through our students’ eyes.
Kendra volunteers her time at the Riverside Arts Center (RAC) as well. Attached you will find a flyer with more information about Kendra and programs at the RAC for all; from budding young artists to art family time options RAC has a program to keep those creative juices flowing.
