If your child is participating in the Science Fair, all of the information is listed below. If your child is not participating in the Science Fair, please make plans for the whole family to participate in the Science Workshops starting at 6:30pm. See you Wednesday night!!!!
The Fair is on March 15th. Your child should plan on arriving at the Ames Gym with all of the things for his or her presentation between 4:45 and 5:00pm. The judging will begin at 5pm and the kids will rotate between presenting their experiments and eating dinner. Please have your child bring a water bottle for the evening. Judging will be from 5-6:30pm.
At 6:30, the Fair will open up to the public. This is when you should plan on bringing the whole family to come check out all of the experiments. Friends, neighbors and siblings are welcome to attend!!!!
At 6:45pm, we will begin the Science Fair Workshops. All children will be invited to participate in this part of the evening. Children will be able to go around to different rooms representing different aspects of science. They will be able to do hands on experiments and see super cool demonstrations. This will be for all ages!
Clean up will be at 8pm and your child should plan on bringing home his or her experiment at that time.
