Did you know you can help our PTA during the summer months?
1. When you shop on Amazon, go to http://smile.amazon.com, select A F Ames PTA, and our school will receive .5% of every sale that is made through the Amazon Smile link. It is a very small % but with the amount of sales volume that Amazon does, it could quickly add up!
2. Clipping Box Tops is an easy way to help earn cash for our school. Each one is worth 10¢ for our school! Just look for the pink Box Tops on hundreds of products. Save them up over the summer so your student will have a head-start on this fundraiser when school begins. For more information on Box Tops, including a list of participating products, go to BTFE.com. Be sure to sign up as a member (it’s free!) so you can check out our school’s earnings details and get access to coupons and bonus offers.
School Supply Drop-Off
School supply drop-off will take place on Wednesday, August 23rd from 3 – 4 PM. Our PTA will be there with membership information, spirit wear items, and treats for incoming students.
School supply kits must be purchased by June 23rd in order to receive the shipping rate of $8.95. Regular shipping rates apply after this date. Visit amespta.org for more information.
Dolphin Dads – New Committee
We have a new committee in need of someone to head up! Dolphin Dads is a new role that will:
• Organize dad volunteers to help with morning school patrol once a month.
• Research possible events, such as golf outings or socials.
If you are interested in learning more about this position, please contact Dawn Eagleson at dawn.eagleson@gmail.com. This is a position that can be based out of home and should require minimal hours (4 hours for the entire school year, that means it’s easy!).
