Have you joined the Ames PTA? This year we are only offering our $10 basic membership, which includes Illinois PTA membership fee and the always popular AMES Student Directory.
It’s easy to join:
- Join at https://my.cheddarup.com/c/pta-membership-71689.
- Sign up to receive PTA emails and information. Enter your email address on the right side of the Ames PTA homepage and hit the “Subscribe me” button.
- Attend PTA meetings and volunteer. We always need parent volunteers to make the PTA work!
For those new to Ames, our PTA has a strong history of offering valuable programs for our students and the school community. The PTA sponsors these and many other activities:
- Class field trips
- Science Fair
- Artist in Residence Week
- Family Heritage Night
- Talent show
- Teacher Appreciation Week
The PTA will look a little different this year, but we will continue to support our wonderful Ames community through student enrichment programs and community engagement. Keep an eye out for new approaches to some of our favorite activities and some new attempts to come together in our current, more virtual world. We ask all our families to support the PTA by joining.
