The Ames Science Fair is around the corner, and we want YOU to be a part of it! All 3rd, 4th and 5th graders are invited to join individually or grab a buddy for a dynamic duo. Participation is free.
To get the creative sparks flying, interested students must attend at least one brainstorming workshop in the Ames library after school from 3:15 – 4pm on February 1st, 8th or 15th. In the days following, each parent of a participant will need to turn in a signed participation form noting that they are aware and approve.
We are also seeking one parent volunteer to shadow this year’s parent co-chairs, both who have 5th graders that will be at Hauser next year. This is a great opportunity to learn the ropes and help set the Ames Science Fair up for future success. If you’re interested, please email riversideamespta@gmail.com this week.

More info and volunteer opportunities to follow.One guardian for every participant must fill out the Ames Science Fair Contract (linked here). This contract certifies that the student will not let down their Science Fair partner or self, and that they are committed to working on their project to completion. Each student participant must have a completed contract submitted no later than Thursday, February 29, 2024.
