Ames PTA helps our school in many ways. We provide financial support through various fundraising events and work with the Ames staff to ensure our kids have the resources and materials they need. The funds we raise have a direct impact on our children and go toward classroom materials, class field trips, library books and other programs within our school.
We have a strong presence in our school. Events that are planned and staffed by PTA volunteers include the Science Fair, Ames Family Dance, Family Reading Night, Movie Night, Halloween Assembly, Talent Show, Field Day and much more! These events give our kids a chance to have fun, enjoy an evening with their family, and maybe learn something new!
Our PTA works only because of parent volunteers like YOU. We encourage you to join today and help us enrich the learning experiences of our children. We make it easy to get involved!
- Step 1: Turn in the membership card below with payment or visit amespta.org to pay online.
- Step 2: Sign up for FeedBlitz at amespta.org to receive PTA emails and important information. (E-mail provided on membership form will be automatically added to FeedBlitz. Opt-out anytime.)
- Step 3: Attend PTA meetings. Monthly meetings at Ames rotate between morning and evening times.
- Step 4: Volunteer! No matter your schedule, we can always use your help.
New for 2017! The Deluxe Membership gets you our new Ames Elementary yard sign and two Ames Dolphin car magnets, plus the school directory – perfect for arranging parties or playdates! You may also choose to provide a direct donation in lieu of participating in fundraising events this year by making a one-time tax-deductible donation using the membership form below.
