Last Chance to Buy Pavers!

Last Spring, the Ames PTA kicked off our Paver Brick Fundraiser to help purchase new playground equipment and pay for other landscape improvements, such as new trees in the playground area.  The new playground equipment was installed in October and you’ve probably already noticed how wonderful the front of the school looks with the large outdoor classroom reading circle with the pavers.

Ames PTA is starting a second sale of engraved brick pavers to help fund this project.  We’ve sold over 70 bricks so far and 50 of them were installed in November.  Installation for this second set of bricks is slated to get underway around April, 2010.  After this installation, there will not be another for several years — so now is your chance to leave a permanent memento of your child’s time at Ames.  Don’t miss out!

Bricks cost $100.00 each and are tax deductible and eligible for matching corporate gifts for companies who match funds to educational institutions.
