Ames School is having our first ever BBQ dinner fundraiser on Wednesday October 26, 2016 featuring 5 Bs Catering. We are preparing BBQ platters and delivering them to your vehicle “drive-thru style.” Support our school by taking the night off from cooking. Bring home delicious freshly prepared BBQ platters or stay and eat out with friends and family at the school.
What: Ames School BBQ Dinner Fundraiser featuring 5 Bs Catering
When: Wednesday, October 26, 2016
Time: 5:00 to 7:00 pm
$13.00 (or $14.00 at the door) for a Combination Meal which includes 1 pork chop, ¼ chicken, applesauce, coleslaw, baked beans and a dinner roll with butter.
$6.00 for a Kids Hotdog Meal which includes applesauce, coleslaw, and baked beans
Please help make this fundraiser a huge success by selling the tickets to your family and friends. If you would like to sell additional tickets, please complete the enclosed ticket request form and return it to the school office. The requested tickets will be delivered to the student’s class within the next two school days. The class that sells the most tickets will win a pizza party!
When selling the tickets, the meal type selection must be checked on the ticket stub and the large ticket portion. The purchaser keeps the large ticket portion. The student keeps all of the tickets stubs. Make sure to let everyone know that tickets must be presented at the time of pick-up.
Payment for tickets can be made by cash or check. Checks should be made out to Ames School PTA. All sold and unsold tickets along with all monies collected must be returned back to school by Friday, October 14, 2016.

We need A LOT of help to make this event a success and we are hoping to see all of our 5th graders come out to make this happen. Older sibling are also welcome and we need some parent volunteers too! This is a wonderful opportunity for the kids to learn about volunteering and should be tons of fun for all.

Fun Lunch Orders are due Friday October 7 for fun lunches October thru December. No late orders will be accepted. Another form will come home January 2017 for the second half of the year.

Volunteers are needed in the library to help students to find books during checkout times. For the parents of Kindergartners, First and Second graders, you will also have the opportunity to read to the kids. The students always love getting to see their parents during the school day.
